Luton Town 2-6 Manchester City Highlights | FA Cup

Erling Haaland returned to his peak performance with a stunning five-goal display, propelling Manchester City to a resounding 6-2 victory over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road and securing their spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday.

Luton found themselves powerless against the unstoppable Norwegian, who secured his eighth City hat-trick before halftime and added two more goals in the second half, putting an end to Luton’s spirited attempt at a comeback.

All four of the 23-year-old Haaland’s initial goals were orchestrated by Kevin De Bruyne. Mateo Kovacic also contributed to the scoresheet for the defending champions, who remain unbeaten in 18 games across all competitions.

Despite Jordan Clark’s impressive goal just before halftime and another early in the second half for Luton, bringing the score to 3-2, City quickly regained control to secure their place in the quarter-finals.

The only downside for City, who are set to face Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday, was an injury to Jack Grealish, who was substituted in the first half.
