Real Madrid 4-0 Celta Vigo Highlights | La Liga

Arda Guler made his mark by scoring his debut goal for Real Madrid in a commanding 4-0 victory over Celta Vigo. Real Madrid, leading the LaLiga standings, delivered a dominant performance at home, securing a comfortable win and extending their lead to seven points at the top of the table.

The match saw goals from Vinicius Jr. and the 19-year-old Guler, who netted his first goal for the club. Additionally, own goals from Celta’s Carlos Dominguez and goalkeeper Vicente Guaita contributed to Real Madrid’s triumph.

Despite Celta Vigo’s goalkeeper Guaita making some impressive saves in the first half, he couldn’t prevent Vinicius from opening the scoring in the 21st minute, marking his 10th goal of the season.

Vinicius expressed his delight after the match, emphasizing his commitment to performing at his best and his desire to stay injury-free. Real Madrid extended their lead in the 79th minute when Antonio Rudiger’s powerful header, deflected off Guaita’s back, found the net from a Luka Modric corner.

The victory was sealed with a late own goal from Dominguez in the 88th minute and a stoppage-time goal from substitute Guler.

Real Madrid’s coach Carlo Ancelotti praised Guler’s potential, indicating a bright future for the young player despite only playing for a few minutes.

With 69 points, Real Madrid maintains a comfortable lead atop the LaLiga standings, seven points clear of second-placed Girona. On the other hand, Rafa Benitez’s Celta Vigo sits precariously in 17th place with 24 points, just above the relegation zone.

Benitez acknowledged his team’s disappointment with the defeat but remained focused on bouncing back in their upcoming matches.
