Goals
Bayern took the lead in the 25th minute when Tom Bischof played a through ball down the left. Serge Gnabry beat Jarell Quansah and slotted it past Mark Flekken for 1-0, his 95th Bundesliga goal. Six minutes later, in the 31st minute, Konrad Laimer and Lennart Karl combined on the left and Laimer whipped in a cross.
Nicolas Jackson headed his first Bayern goal, 2-0 and game over. The third came in the 43rd minute from a Leverkusen mistake. A low driven cross into the box caught the defence sleeping and Loïc Badé deflected it into his own net past Flekken. Leverkusen had moments, like Ernest Poku’s pace, but Bayern’s defence, led by Dayot Upamecano, were solid for the clean sheet.
