PSG scored in the 29th minute when Vitinha found Achraf Hakimi with a great pass and he volleyed low past Radosław Majecki. In the 39th minute Hakimi scored again, linked up with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to fire a powerful shot in the top corner. Brest got a penalty in the 59th minute after Lee Kang-In’s handball, but Romain Del Castillo slipped and skied the shot. In the 93rd minute Désiré Doué sealed the win, smashing a shot past Majecki after a great pass from Warren Zaïre-Emery.
Man of the Match
Achraf Hakimi was Man of the Match for his two goals and non stop energy on the right wing. Désiré Doué’s goal and Vitinha’s playmaking were key, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was a joy to watch. Brest’s Romain Del Castillo and Pathé Mboup worked hard but couldn’t get past PSG’s defence.
