Richarlison’s low cross found Brennan Johnson, who was initially flagged offside, but the decision was overturned after a VAR check. Johnson’s calm finish past James Trafford made it 0-1.

Brennan Johnson’s composure and Richarlison’s assist showed Spurs’ attacking threat. For City, Erling Haaland was quiet, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki showed flashes, but couldn’t break through. Vicario’s saves were key; he was praised for denying City’s chances.
