PSV vs Napoli: Goals and Highlights

Summary

PSV Eindhoven absolutely tore it up at Philips Stadion back on October 21, 2025, taking down Napoli 6-2 to get their first win in that Champions League group stage. Dennis Man was the man to beat with 2 goals, but don’t count out Ismael Saibari, Couhaib Driouech, Ricardo Pepi or an own goal that came courtesy of Alessandro Buongiorno.

PSV 6-2 Napoli: Goals and Highlights

Napoli got 2 from Scott McTominay, but their night was pretty much over when Lorenzo Lucca got his marching orders in the 76th minute for a bit of a tantrum in front of the ref. PSV showed off their attacking muscle; Napoli looked a bit lost defensively on the night – which ended their winning streak.

Goals

Napoli got the lead in the 31st minute when Scott McTominay headed in on a cross from Leonardo Spinazzola. But PSV wasnt about to let it get away – an own goal from Alessandro Buongiorno in the 35th minute had the score level. A minute later, Ismael Saibari made it 2-1 for PSV – scoring on the break after Guus Til made a run down the line & left him room to get his shot off. Come the 54th minute, Dennis Man puts his name on the board, set up by Mauro Júnior.

Dennis Man was at it again in the 80th minute, this time thanks to Joey Veerman. After Lorenzo Lucca gave the ref the old two fingers (he got the red card in the 76th minute) , Ricardo Pepi slotted one in in the 86th minute. And then Couhaib Driouech added another in the 89th minute. Meanwhile, Scott McTominay got himself a late header in the 85th minute for Napoli.

Player of the Match

The player of the match was Dennis Man – 2 goals, a constant threat that had Napoli’s defenders on their toes all night. Ismael Saibari and Couhaib Driouech also played big roles for PSV, but Scott McTominay was Napoli’s best by a long shot even if they did lose. And let’s give a shout out to Joey Veerman – his assists were clutch.
