Just before halftime, in the 44th minute, Jude Bellingham curled a left footed shot from outside the box into the top corner after cutting inside from the right, 3-0.
Valencia had a scare when Vinícius Júnior’s penalty was saved by Agirrezabala in the 40th minute and then Arda Güler’s rebound was denied. The fourth came in the 82nd minute when Álvaro Carreras, the young left back, smashed an angled shot from inside the box into the top corner for his first Real Madrid goal, to wrap up the win.
