The game changed in the 54th minute when Tomáš Souček was sent off for a reckless challenge on João Palhinha. Then in the 57th minute Lucas Bergvall looped in a brilliant header from a Cristian Romero pass. Micky van de Ven sealed the win in the 64th minute after Bergvall’s nice play.
Player of the Match
Lucas Bergvall was Player of the Match for his goal and assist. The young midfielder was calm and composed on his 50th Tottenham appearance and is a rising star.

Tottenham had 64% possession, West Ham’s set piece weakness was exploited, Sarr’s goal was the 5th corner West Ham have conceded this season. Mohammed Kudus who was facing his former club almost scored in the first half but his header was disallowed.
Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville had early chances for West Ham but Guglielmo Vicario kept a clean sheet. Despite Graham Potter’s subs including Luis Guilherme West Ham couldn’t recover after Souček was sent off. Spurs were clinical and Frank’s tactics won the derby.
