Frank Lampard’s Next Potential Role Unveiled
Former Chelsea Manager Frank Lampard Considered for Next England Head Coach Role
Frank Lampard, former Chelsea boss, is reportedly among the top contenders to become the next England manager. Despite Lee Carsley’s impressive performance as interim coach, leading the team to two back-to-back 2-0 victories against the Republic of Ireland and Finland in the UEFA Nations League, the Football Association (FA) is exploring other long-term options.
According to the Daily Telegraph, while Carsley’s successful interim spell has boosted his chances, the FA is keeping its options open as they search for a permanent successor to Gareth Southgate, who stepped down after eight years in charge.
Lampard, now 46, is said to be on a four-man shortlist for the position. Though Carsley remains a strong candidate, the FA is reportedly considering Lampard and other potential choices to lead the national team into the next era of English football.
