Kane nodded in the first goal in the 38th minute, erasing Lazio’s slim 1-0 advantage from the first leg. Later, he capitalized on a rebound in the 66th minute, following up on Thomas Mueller’s goal just before halftime which put Bayern 2-0 up.
The victory brought immediate relief to coach Thomas Tuchel, especially amidst recent struggles with only one win in their last five matches across all competitions. Currently trailing by 10 points in the Bundesliga, this win was a much-needed boost.

With this victory, Bayern continues their impressive track record in the Champions League, reaching at least the quarter-finals in 12 of the last 13 seasons.
